We have been closely monitoring the current COVID-19 scenario in our city. This morning, it is no longer business as usual. Restaurants, bars, gyms, and many other businesses are now closed to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. These actions are necessary for the health of our families, our friends, our communities, and our country. While these measures will cause hardships for everyone, it is important that we do what we can to stop the spread of this virus.
The StoneFly will be keeping the doors locked starting today until April 1st, and will conduct business through other avenues. We will be on-hand to answer the phone during normal business hours and fill orders as well as provide updated fishing reports. We will continue to assess things as they unfold.
While not a completely finished product, our online store reflects our current inventory and we can ship orders the same day, or you can swing by and grab your order without setting foot in the shop. We will walk it out to your car!
Providing service is important to us and we will continue to do so. If you have a special need, please call us and we will help. If you don't find what you need online, call us!
We will be taking appointments for wader/boot fittings, and other needs that require being in the shop. You can also make an appointment to test cast any of our fly rods. Be assured that the shop and the items will be carefully cleaned before and after your visit.
If you have already placed an order, we will contact you when it arrives and make arrangments to have it ready for curbside pickup.
The days, weeks, and months ahead will be challenging for all. Please know that we are doing what we can to keep ourselves, our customers, and community safe. You are our family and we will be here for you when you need us. If you have a need outside of our normal interactions, call us. We are all in this together, and we are here for you.
Over the last 14 years, our fly shop has been a gathering place for friends and family to share their passion for fly fishing. Hopefully, this break will be a short one and we can get back to business as normal. In the meantime, be well, stay healthy and go fishing whenever you can.
