The StoneFly Guide Staff
Chris Bradley - As co-owner and outfitter of The StoneFly, Chris' number one goal is to ensure his
clients have a memorable trip on our waters. Chris, one of a few native Montanans, cut his teeth at
an early age chasing trout all over this great state. From beginners, to expert anglers, his demeanor
and work ethic are a constant. One of the most easy-going guides you'll find. When he's not on the
water, his 21 month old twins (a boy and girl) and lovely wife keep him busy.
“Southwest Montana’s premier fly fishing specialists.”
Jesse LeNeve - A Helena, MT native. Jesse consistently creates exceptional experiences on the river
and in the field.  Well versed on many stretches of water around the state, he will show you a true
Montana experience.
Pete Shanafelt - Pete has spent his entire life in the mountains of Montana
and Idaho.  His trout chasing career began on the waters of Central Idaho.
Pete then moved to Montana in 2001 to discover other fishing
opportunities and attend college at the University of Montana.  Since then,
he has devoted his guiding career to the broad range of waters found in
Western Montana.  Pete spends a majority of his season on the Missouri
River, which is also his river of choice in the State of Montana.  Pete is
known as an easy going, but hard working individual who lives to get
people on fish."
Rick Rossi - Chasing trout and steelhead are two of Rick's passions, and as the head of the Math
Department at Montana Tech in Butte, Rick is an exemplary teacher and guide. With his vast
knowledge of the Big Hole River and a great sense of humor, you will enjoy every outing on the river
with Rick.
